DEAR CAT: My friend and his girlfriend broke up not too long ago and he’s crushed. He doesn’t want to do anything unless it’s work-related. Would you agree the best cure is getting out, partying, having some fun and meeting new women?

DEAR CAT: I’ve been separated for just over 2 years and seeing a man for most of that time. He has a rule that we won’t meet each other’s family until I’m divorced, so yet again he’s taking his ex-girlfriend to his family’s house for an event. Do men always have to have a woman with them?
