He Set A Dating Deadline & She Cooked Up A Lie

DEAR CAT: I’m a 26yr old single guy. I can get girls to date me but they break up with me after a month. I hear, “you’re a great guy, but…” Any ideas why this happens? I’m giving up in one month.

DEAR CAT: I’m about to have my third date with a guy I met on an internet dating site. The problem is I lied in my profile by saying I enjoy cooking and he is a self-trained chef! We’re going to cook dinner and I’m afraid my lack of cooking skills will make him lose interest. Should I fess up?

DEAR CAT: I will have my current job only until the end of the year. One coworker, with whom I’m not very close, has emailed me about job openings and mentioned my job search to others in our office. How do I tell her to “stay out of it” without being rude?

DEAR CAT: My sister often seeks my advice about her her husband’s drinking and possible involvement with other women. I don’t want to pit myself against him but she keeps coming to me for advice. How can I best help her?

His Relationship Couldn't Survive Her Friends & Don't Let Holiday Cards Be A Summer Stress

DEAR CAT: During the two years I lived with my ex-girlfriend one of her friends didn’t like me and often badmouthed me. Eventually my girlfriend cheated and left me. How can a relationship succeed despite negative outside influences?

DEAR CAT: I am already stressing about the cost of mailing holiday cards. Most are to family members whom we never see or hear from throughout the year. I’d feel guilty not sending them but I’d rather spend my time and money elsewhere…

Cheating Has Many Faces & Being A Best Man Is Breaking The Bank

DEAR CAT: My wife found her ex-boyfriend online and since then she has been lying about their communication. I’ve found emails, texts, love notes lying around the house, etc. What should I think about all this?

DEAR CAT: I’m the best man in my friend’s wedding, which requires expensive travel. With the travel costs and his bachelor party weekend, it’ll be hard to buy him a beer! Would love your two-cents (possibly all I can afford) for what would be an appropriate gift.

They're Friends At Work, But Only At Work & Her Friend Is A Party 'Pusher'

DEAR CAT: I have a friend at work who is married and I know she loves her husband very much. At work we get along well but when I text or email her outside of work, she never responds. Are we really friends or mere coworkers?

DEAR CAT: My friend sells products wherein she finds someone to host a party and then attempts to sell products to those in attendance. She badgers our friends to have parties. Can I say no without damaging our friendship?
